Buccaneers announce 2014 practice squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have rounded out their initial practice squad with three more defensive backs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially announced their initial 2014 practice squad. After yesterday signing six players who spent the preseason with the team, the Bucs have added four outside players to their developmental squad: cornerbacks Brandon Dixon and Derrius Brooks, linebacker Carlos Fields and safety Kimario McFadden.

The 5'10", 192 lbs. Brooks was an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky in 2012, and has spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints and Calgary Stampeders. without ever appearing in a regular season game. Dixon was a sixth-round draft pick for the New York Jets this year, and was waived during final cuts.The 5'11", 2013 lbs. cornerback played his college football at Northwest Missouri State.

Fields is a fairly big safety, at 6'1", 238 lbs, who spent the offseason with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out Winston-Salem State. Finally, McFadden went undrafted this year after spending his college days at South Carolina State. He signed with the Falcons before being waived during the final roster cutdown.
