It's the day after a game, and that means snap counts are back!
Nothing too shocking for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers here, though. Jamon Meredith got extended looks at guard with both the first and second team, while Jace Daniel, Patrick Omameh and Jason Foster also saw significant playing time. Intriguingly, fifth-round pick Kadeem Edwards barely saw the field with just 11 offensive snaps.
Two other draft picks didn't get much playing time eitehr: Mike Evans managed 16 snaps and Robbert Herron just 9. By contrast, Kevin Pamphile got 31 snaps as a second/third-team offensive tackle, while Charles Sims managed 23 snaps at running back and Austin Seferian-Jenkins so more snaps than any other skill-position player. It's a saf bet that Seferian-Jenkins will see extensive playing time in preseason.
A few other hints can be gleaned by looking at special teams snaps: Kelcie McCray, Keith Tandy, Deveron Carr and Steven Means got significant playing time on special teams, which suggests they could make the roster that way. Well, Means' roster spot is fairly secure, but the other three players are barely hanging on. A quality special teams performance would certainly help them.
