The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still securely beating the Buffalo Bills after three quarters. E.J. Manuel produced one solid drive all game long -- against the Bucs' backups. That not surprisingly led to a Mike Williams touchdown, but the Bucs were clearly the better team with both of the starters in.
Still, it was slightly annoying to see Manuel drive down the field, even if it was against backups. That turned a 24-0 lead into what is now a 24-14 lead. Still solid, but slightly less impressive. One consistent problem was the backup defense consistently giving up the edge in run defense.
That's in part because the Bucs' offense hasn't done much since pulling their starters, either. The running game is going nowhere, while Mike Glennon has thrown a couple of near-picks.
Here's your fourth quarter open thread!
