Buccaneers vs. Bills score update: Tampa Bay leading Buffalo 7-0

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are dominating the Buffalo Bills after one quarter, at least on defense. Gerald McCoy was as ridiculous as ever, but the rest of the defense chipped in as well. Including the defensive line. Dashon Goldson got an interception, Mason Foster picked up a fumble forced by Lavonte David and the team forced another three-and-out inside the Bills' ten-yard line.

The Bucs offense started out as ugly as the Bills', though, with a three-and-out and an interception on subsequent drives. Third time's a charm, as Josh McCown hit Doug Martin on a post route for a 21-yard pass to the goal-line, with Martin jumping over the pile the very next play to give the Bucs a 7-0 lead.

The Bucs are looking pretty good. Dominant on defense, not as shaky as before on offense with the offensive line once again improving slightly over last week's outing. It's far from dominant, but the line at least looks serviceable this time.

Here's your second quarter open thread. Go Bucs!
