Dolphins slamming Buccaneers in third quarter

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now down 20-7 to the Miami Dolphins as their backups are getting slaughtered.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were actually looking pretty good in this game, until the backups took the field. Since then, Matt Moore has marched down the field on two drives, ending both with touchdowns with very little resistance. That is not a good luck for the injury-riddled Bucs, who saw at least five players suffer injuries during this game.

The offense didn't do much better, barely moving the ball down the field and then Mike Glennon kind of dropping the ball after running into his left tackle. The Dolphins recovered, and once again marched down the field for another field goal. The first teams on both sides were fairly evenly matched, but Miami is a lot better than Tampa Bay when it comes to the backups.

We'll see if that changes as the third-teamers come onto the field in the fourth quarter here. Here's your open thread for that final period!
