The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed defensive end T.J. Fatinikun, whose name I am going to get wrong so often, and never going to pronounce correctly. Fatinikun played his college football at Toledo and entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Surprisingly, we actually have a photo of the guy!
The 6'2", 250 lbs. defensive end played in the Arena Football League the past year for the Orlando Predators and Portland Thunder, notching 4 sacks in fifteen games. Fatinikun is now the second AFL defensive end on the Bucs' roster, joining James Ruffin who was signed last week.
With both Da'Quan Bowers and Steven Means sitting out the past couple of practices, having another defensive end on the roster makes a lot sense.
Roster move count under Lovie Smith: 94.
