2014 NFL Draft Trade: Buccaneers trade up

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded up into the fifth round of the 2014 NFL draft.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers apparently see something they like, as they just traded up into the fifth round of the 2014 NFL draft. It's not clear which player they're targeting, or what they've given up, but we'll have that information for you as quickly as possible.

Update: The Bucs gave up their seventh-round pick and a 2015 fifth-round pick to get the right to draft Purdue tackle Kevin Pamphile.

This aggressive move up will land the Bucs a player they relish, but it will also deplete their options later in the draft, depending on the exact compensation they'll be giving up. They selected an offensive guard a few picks ago.  This deep draft still has a lot of impressive players on the board, though. Take a quick look at our list of top available players from this morning.
