The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced the dates for all of their 2014 preseason games, and the times for three of them. We can't let this momentous occasion go by without a post on the matter, of course.
Day | Date | Opponent | Time |
Friday | Aug. 8 | @ Jacksonville | 7:30 p.m. |
Saturday | Aug. 16 | MIAMI | 7:30 p.m. |
Saturday | Aug. 23 | @ Buffalo | 4:30 p.m. |
Thursday | Aug. 28 | WASHINGTON |
7:30 p.m. |
If you were planning to go to any of these games, you can now schedule your trips, hotels or a day off. But you won't know when to be in Buffalo, exactly, because for some reason the kickoff time for that matchup is a secret. The game should take place in the evening, though, as all NFL games tend to do. None of these games are slated to be nationally televised, at least for now.
The NFL should release the regular season schedule either tomorrow or on Thursday. For some reason, the NFL won't be more specific because apparently planning a release date exactly is very very hard, and watching every outlet covering NFL teams squirm is amusing to them.
