I like the new uniforms. I like them because they're different, they pay homage to the team's history in their use of their colors and because pewter is a dominant color. I like the use of 'bay orange' alongside red and pewter. I like the fact that the uniforms is no longer just one, solid color with a number. I like that the logo's bigger and more recognizable on the helmet. I like that there's a ship on one shoulder, and "BUCS" on the other.
Most of all, I like the uniforms because they're unique. No longer can you stare at some general NFL highlights and wonder whether that flash of red jersey was the Buccaneers, or Falcons, or Cardinals, or 49ers, or Chiefs, or Redskins.

Seriously. Five other teams have colors dominated by various shades of red, and the Falcons' and Buccaneers' shades are ridiculously similar to each other. I've seen people call the previous Tampa Bay uniforms the best in the NFL and iconic, and I just can't see that. Not when they were so similar to several other NFL uniforms.
So yes, I like these new jerseys. I like it when the Bucs stand out. When you can tell, at a glance, that these are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And I'll like them even more when one look at those uniforms will let everyone know they're about to see tough, dominant football.
