NFL Draft Order 2015: Buccaneers take first overall pick

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft, based on today's standings and the full-season strength of schedule. With the Oakland Raiders moving out of the top spot for the first time this season thanks to win over the San Francisco 49ers, the Bucs win the tiebreaker thanks to a very weak strength of schedule.

But five teams are tied at 2-11, with the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets joining the Bucs and Raiders. Strength of schedule and three weeks of games will determine which team will have the first pick, and their choice of potential franchise quarterbacks.

To make matters more interesting, the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars have a game coming up, as do the New York Jets and Titans. Which means we'll probably see two of those teams fall out of the running for the first overall pick over the next couple of weeks.

The Bucs haven't given up, though, and they've been competitive in nearly every game this season, and certainly in every game since their week seven bye. Given the fact that they have games against the 4-8-1 Carolina Panthers and 5-7 New Orleans Saints on the schedule, there's a solid chance they pick up one more win, too. Even if they don't, strength of schedule can change rapidly, and the difference with the Titans' and Jaguars' schedule is relatively small.

Still, for now we'll get to play with the idea of the Bucs having the first overall pick. What will they do? Draft a quarterback? Trade it for a ridiculous amount of picks? Or grab a dominant defensive lineman?
