Buccaneers vs. Lions injury report: No Bobby Rainey or Anthony Collins for Tampa Bay

On Friday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers missed five starters in practice: left tackle Anthony Collins, defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, tight end Brandon Myers, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins and running back Bobby Rainey. While Lovie Smith wouldn't rule them out and the team will officially list them as questionable, I would not expect them to play on Sunday.

That means we're likely to see Oniel Cousins back at left tackle -- a problem, certainly against Ezekiel Ansah, but not a massive step back from Collins. In fact, while each of these absences will lead to minor problems and dropoffs in quality of play, none of them should be crippling for the Bucs.

In better news, the Bucs should have linebacker Lavonte David back after a two-game absence, which should see Danny Lansanah move back to strongside linebacker. The Bucs may try to give Lansanah some extra playing time, possibly by taking some away from Mason Foster, given Lansanah's strong play in recent weeks.

For the Detroit Lions, every player except Nick Fairley should be available. The defensive tackle has been declared out, which is a minor relief for the Bucs' horrid offensive line.
