Buccaneers vs. Lions Injury Report: Bucs get a little more healthy

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to have problems on the injury front after Sunday's injury-marred game. Lavonte David, Major Wright, Luke Stocker and Evan Dietrich-Smith thankfully returned to practice and appear to be on track to play on Sunday. But Clinton McDonald, Brandon Myers, Bobby Rainey and Austin Seferian-Jenkins all missed Wednesday's practice, while Mason Foster was limited.

The Bucs have struggled with injuries throughout the season, but their recent problems have been particularly severe. All three of their top tight ends were absent for Sunday's game, as were defensive tackle Clinton McDonald and safety Major Wright. Having at least some of those players return to play should the help the team quite a bit.

As for the Lions, their only real concern is Nick Fairley's absence on Wednesday. Given the fact that the Bucs offensive line is horrifyingly bad, Fairley's possible failure to play would certainly help Tampa Bay.
