Saints vs. Buccaneers injury report: No Mason Foster, Terron Armstead

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will probably have to try to beat the New Orleans Saints without starting middle linebacker, who missed his third straight day of practice and is listed as Doubtful on the injury list. He hasn't officially been ruled out, but he probably won't play. Danny Lansanah or Dane Fletcher should be his replacement.

The Bucs may also have to beat Drew Brees without Dashon Goldson, which could be a real problem. Goldson hasn't been great this season, but he's more or less done his job as a deep safety: keep the long plays to a minimum. Not a game changer, but he's execute his assignments. If Keith Tandy has to fill in for him, that may change.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints do have some serious issues. Left tackle Terron Armstead will miss Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, as will running back Pierre Thomas and defensive end Akiem Hicks. The Bucs will finally be able to get through a game without seeing Pierre Thomas magically wiggle his way to a first down on a screen pass.

With Armstead out, Michael Johnson will get one final chance to prove his worth to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before they decide whether to cut him. He's had flashes throughout the year, but hasn't been able to bring anything remotely resembling consistent pressure.
