It took the Buccaneers 26 minutes to get a first down

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a horrible offense, but this is pretty special. With 4:35 left in the second quarter, they had -1 net yards. Even fewer than that if you count penalties.

No first downs to that point. As spectacularly incompetent an offensive performance as we've seen, though at least they didn't turn the ball over, I guess.

And then, somehow, some way the Bucs suddenly started completing passes. Mike Evans got the Bucs a first down on second-and-21. Then Vincent Jackson got them into scoring range with a 40-yard sideline catch. With the Packers leading 10-0, they'll need a lot more than that. But at least there were signs of life.
