Mason Foster suffers Achilles injury

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will probably have to finish this game without Mason Foster, who reinjured his Achilles early in the first quarter and is questionable to return, per Rick Stroud. The middle linebackers had missed a couple of games with an Achilles injury and was questionable leading up to the game, so this shouldn't be a massive surprise.

Danny Lasanah will take over for Foster at middle linebacker, as he's done repeatedly in recent weeks, while Orie Lemon will step in at strongside linebacker for Lansanah.

The Bucs defense is actually playing well so far against the Packers, as they have yet to give up a single point and even managed to force a turnover. The pass rush has been active, with Michael Johnson surprisingly effective and getting the team's lone sack so far.

Without Foster, the Bucs shouldn't lose too much. Lansanah has looked pretty good at middle linebacker in recent weeks. We'll keep you updated as we get more info.
