The Tampa Bay Buccaneers once again deactivated a healthy Anthony Collins, for the second straight week. The team's prize free agent left tackle has not only lost out to Demar Dotson at left tackle, he can't even get any play at guard or right tackle over the likes of Oniel Cousins, Josh Allen and Patrick Omameh. He's almost certainly played his last snaps for the Bucs.
The Bucs do get back middle linebacker Mason Foster and defensive tackle Clinton McDonald today, which should help bolster their defense. With Major Wright on injured reserve, Bradley McDougald steps in at safety. At right tackle the Bucs are likely to start Oniel Cousins, though rookie Kevin Pamphile should get a decent amount of snaps, too.
Surprisingly, the Bucs also deactivated rookie receiver Robert Herron while playing recently signed Tavarres King instead.
The Packers' only significant inactive is cornerback Davon House. Bryan Bulaga passed a concussion test yesterday and will start at right tackle.
Buccaneers inactives: WR Robert Herron, WR Solomon Patton, RB Mike James, CB Isaiah Frey, T Anthony Collins, DL Lawrence Sidbury, TE/FB Evan Rodriguez.
Packers inacties: WR Jeff Janis, CB Davon House, LB Carl Bradford, C Garth Gerhart, TE Justin Perillo, DE Bruce Gaston.
