NFL Draft Order 2015: Buccaneers creep closer to the top

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one step closer to the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals, and seeing the Jacksonville Jaguars win. Thanks to their awful schedule, the Bucs are currently set to 'win' tiebreakers with most teams, though the Tennessee Titans and Washington wouldn't need a lot to change for them to take back that 'win'.

The Oakland Raiders still hold the top pick in the draft, of course, and their schedule suggests that's unlikely to change. All four of their remaining opponents are serious playoff contenders with winning records. The question will be whether the Raiders want a quarterback, or whether they think Derek Carr has a solid chance of developing into a franchise passer for them.

For the Bucs, there's no serious question. They'll almost certainly take a quarterback at the top of the draft, assuming there's one worth taking, of course. The Tennessee Titans appear to be in a similar situation, as are the New York Jets and Washington, among the teams set to get a top ten pick.
