New, comments

The Bengals took over the lead in the third quarter as the Bucs defense finally buckled under the pressure of horrible field position.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been dominant on defense today, but their offense just isn't good enough to help them win this game. Despite being handed great field position throughout the game, the Bucs offense has just 10 total points. And despite handing the defense horrible field position all game, the Bucs still have given up only 14 points.

No matter how well the defense plays, they simply need more out of this offense if they want to win this or any other game.

That doesn't mean the defense isn't to blame, though. Leonard Johnson got beat on subsequent plays at the end of the third quarter, giving A.J. Green and me a headache while I try to determine how he's even on the field, let alone covering A.J. Green.

Still, this game is far from over. Orie Lemon saved a sneaky Bengals onside kick to give Josh McCown and company great field position, which is where we're at now: third-and-16 at the Bengals' 23-yard line.
