Bengals vs. Buccaneers injury report: Everyone rests starters

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are resting a lot of players, with three starters and two part-time players missing today's practice. Luke Stocker is probably the most concerning in the group, as he suffered a concussion which was not noticed on Sunday. It's likely that he won't play on Sunday, as he'll have to pass a concussion test by Friday to play.

In addition, Evan Dietrich-Smith was absent with an illness, tight end Brandon Myers has a calf injury, Clinton McDonald is struggling with a hamstring injury, and Lavonte David missed his third consecutive practice with a hamstring issue as well. David should be ready for Sunday's game, given that he was close to playing this Sunday, but who knows at this point?

As for the Bengals, it must have been yearly everyone-gets-some-rest practice, because they had a whopping seven guys not participating in practice. We'll see how serious those issues are over the next few weeks, but many of those players are significant parts of their game plan, including DEs Robert Geathers and Margus Hunt, CB Adam Jones and WR Mohamed Sanu. In addition, starting right tackle Andre Smith was placed on injured reserve.
