NFL Power Rankings 2014, Week 9: Buccaneers not the worst

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not the worst team in the league, somehow.

I'm not kidding: I couldn't find a single power ranking that listed the Bucs as the worst team in the league, despite the fact that they lost in most ignominious fashion to the Minnesota Vikings. Really!

The inimitable Danny Kelly names the Bucs the fourth-worst team in the NFL. Fox Sports has them in 30th place. Peter Prisco goes with number 29, Bleeding Green nation with a 31st place and MLive puts them in 31st.

The Bucs suck. This is annoying. I don't know what else I can say, really. I think these power rankings may be a little generous in not naming the Bucs the worst or second-worst team in the NFL, and somehow I kind of want to complain about it. Call the Bucs the worst, I dare you! The team I have been ever-so-painfully supporting for as long as I've watched football is terrible, and I want you to reinforce that opinion!

I don't know. It's just tiring. The year-after-year futility the Bucs have been displaying is getting to me. Please fix this, someone.
