Mike Glennon to start, Vincent Jackson active for Buccaneers vs. Vikings

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will start Mike Glennon over Josh McCown today.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will start Mike Glennon against the Minnesota Vikings today, and he'll get to throw to Vincent Jacksonaccording to Adam Schefter. That's not a big surprise, but it's still good to know.

There was some question as to whether the Bucs would stick with Mike Glennon as Josh McCown got healthier, and that question still remains to an extent. But McCown has participated in practice this week, appears to be ready to suit up and the fact that the Bucs aren't turning to him is fairly telling. This is likely to continue for the rest of the season, too.

As for Vincent Jackson, he's been playing through rib and wrist injuries for a few weeks now, and his participation is no surprise -- but still good news for the offense, which has struggled to do much outside of throw the ball to their veteran receiver. The Bucs will need to do more than that to beat the Vikings today, however.
