Josh McCown likely out against Saints, Mason Foster, Dashon Goldson in doubt

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to have significant injury problems, as they'll likely miss Josh McCown, Mason Foster and Dashon Goldson against the New Orleans Saints.

Quarterback Josh McCown is unlikely to be healthy for Sunday's game, according to Rick Stroud. A report on Sunday suggested that McCown would be out six-plus weeks if he couldn't throw on Monday, but it appears that things are not quite that bleak for the veteran signal caller.

Even if McCown is healthy, it's not clear he'd start over Mike Glennon. While Lovie Smith has historically been reluctant to change quarterbacks, he would not commit either to Glennon or McCown after Sunday's game. Glennon certainly had a pretty good game on Sunday.

In other injury news, the return of starting middle linebacker Mason Foster and starting free safety Dashon Goldson is in doubt. The Tampa Bay Times notes that Goldson was wearing a boot in his left ankle, but neither he nor Foster would rule out playing on Sunday. Major Wright is likely to fill in for Goldson, while Dane Fletcher has taken over Foster's duties the past few games.
