The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have completed their 2014 coaching staff, the team has announced. After the proliferation of various new assistant coaches under Greg Schiano, the Bucs are back to having a more traditional staff with 20 coaches in Lovie Smith's first year as the head coach.
The Bucs have a total of eight assistant coaches on each side of the ball, plus two special teams coaches and one strength and conditioning coach. In addition, the Bucs will have some interns on the staff, as does every team, which includes both Jeff Tedford's and Lovie Smith's son.
Overall, the coaching staff looks like a healthy mix of very qualified and experienced coaches (Jeff Tedford, Leslie Frazier, George Warhop, Gill Byrd) and younger, less experienced coaches (Marcus Arroyo, Hardy Nickerson, Andrew Hayes-Stoker).
