NFL playoff schedule 2014: Dates and times for Divisional round games

New, comment

Everything you need to watch this weekend's NFL playoff games, including dates, times, TV channels and odds.

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

It's the second week of the playoffs and the NFL postseason is already coming close to an end. These seasons go by so fast, it's slightly ridiculous. And always without the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the end, sadly.

Well, here's all you need to know about this weekend's games!

Saturday, January 11

(6) New Orleans Saints (11-5) vs. (1) Seattle Seahawks (13-3),

Game time: 4:35 p.m. ET

TV Channel: Fox

Odds: Seahawks by 7.5

Connections to the Buccaneers: The Saints are, of course, the Bucs' hated division rivals. The Seattle Seahawks have former Buccaneer Michael Bennett as their most active defensive lineman, playing both defensive end and defensive tackle.

(4) Indianapolis Colts (11-5) vs. (2) New England Patriots (12-4)

Game time: 8:15 p.m. ET

TV Channel: CBS

Odds: Patriots by 7

Connections to the Buccaneers: Aqib Talib and Legarrette Blount were both traded to the Patriots, and both have done very well in their new environs. Patriots defensive tackle Chris Jones was a Buccaneer for a handful of games earlier this season.

Sunday, January 12

(5) San Francisco 49ers (12-4) vs. (2) Carolina Panthers

Game time: 1:05 p.m. ET

TV Channel: Fox

Odds: 49ers by 1

Connections to the Buccaneers: Another division rival! Gah! I don't know of any real connections between the Buccaneers and 49ers.

(6) San Diego Chargers (9-7) vs. (1) Denver Broncos (13-3)

Game time: 4:40 p.m. ET

TV Channel: CBS

Odds: Broncos by 9

Connections to the Buccaneers: Former Bucs linebackers coach Joe Barry is coaching linebackers for the Chargers. No connections exist with the Broncos as far as I am aware.
