Josh Freeman's agent calls Greg Schiano a liar

The Josh Freeman drama is starting to get really embarrassing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers banished Josh Freeman from the sidelines today after deactivating him, reportedly for missing multiple meetings this week. Greg Schiano called that a mutual decision after the loss against the Arizona Cardinals, but Josh Freeman's agent is stepping in.

Because we didn't have enough drama in Tampa, yet. The head coach repeatedly and clearly claimed that the decision to move Josh Freeman up to a suite was mutual. Whether Schiano or Freeman's agent is speaking the truth we'll probably never know for certain. What we do know is that the two aren't exactly best buddies.

At this point it hardly matters, though. The bridge is burned, the ship has sailed, the freeway has been shut down, the earth has been salted, the airplane has been shot down and the submarine has sunken. Josh Freeman and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are done, for better or for worse.

The question now is whether the Bucs can find a trade partner for Josh Freeman. The Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers have been named as potential landing spot. The trade deadline is October 29, so the Bucs will have to find a team to trade Freeman to by then because clearly this situation is unworkable.
