Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams will play for Buccaneers vs. Cardinals

Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams will play today for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they match up with the Arizona Cardinals. That and all the other inactives today.

Fantasy owners can safely start Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams today, as the two wide receivers are active for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Arizona Cardinals today. With rookie Mike Glennon starting and expcted to play a game manager role, the two banged-up receivers are unlikely to be overly productive, however.

Vincent Jackson suffered a rib injury against the Patriots, and didn't return in the second half of that game. He missed two of the three practices this past week and was limited in the third. Earlier today, Ian Rapoport reported that Jackson has a five-week injury, but that he could play through the injury with the help of some painkillers. Of course, playing and being 100% are two different things entirely.

Josh Freeman is also inactive, with Ian Rapoport reporting that the quarterback missed meetings this past week. The Buccaneers and Freeman are heading for a very swift divorce, and Dan Orlovksy will be the second-string quarterback today.

One surprise in active for the Bucs is defensive end Trevor Scott, who blew up preseason but hasn't been overly productive this year. Rookie Steven Means and William Gholston are both active. The Bucs have struggled to get an edge rush and may be trying to get some production with this move.

For the Arizona Cardinals, safety Rashad Johnson will not play. The safety lost to the top of his middle finger last week and is apparently not healthy enough to go on the field. Expect Tyrann Mathieu to get the start at safety in Johnson's place.

Buccaneers Inactives:  CB Michael Adams, T Gabe Carimi, TE Tom Crabtree, QB Josh Freeman, DT Derek Landri, CB Rashaan Melvin, DE Trevor Scott.

Cardinals Inactives: S Rashad Johnson, QB Ryan Lindley, LB Kevin Minter, RB Ryan Williams, T Bobby Massie, G Earl Watford, NT Dan Williams.
