Mike Glennon is your new Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting quarterback now that Josh Freeman has been benched. Apparently, Greg Schiano is desperate to start winning games and he doesn't think Freeman can do that anymore. The Bucs thought they had "seen enough" of Freeman.
Can Mike Glennon win games for the Buccaneers, though? Can he overcome the other issues on offense, banged up wide receivers and no pass-catching tight end? Can he function in an offense that provides no easy throws? Or will we see more of the same? That's no rhetorical question -- he could genuinely be better than Freeman, and he has the talent to be a good NFL quarterback.
Reactions so far have been mixed, at best, but I'd like to know what you think of the move. What grade would you give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for moving on from Josh Freeman to start Mike Glennon? Vote in the poll and let us know in the comments!
