The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to go another week without their All-Pro left guard. Carl Nicks won't suit up against the New Orleans Saints today, according to Adam Schefter.
Despite being listed as questionable with a toe injury, Bucs G Carl Nicks will not play today against his former Saints team.

This means Gabe Carimi is likely to start at left guard. Carimi struggled against the New York Jets last week, as he matched up with Sheldon Richardson. The Buccaneers as a hole could not find any running room and struggled to protect Josh Freeman. Missing Nicks won't do them any good, and with Tom Crabtree still out they lack quality at tight end as well.
The good news is that Erik Lorig is almost certain to suit up, and the Buccaneers can now get back to running the ball with their two-back offense. Because for some reason, they didn't think they needed a fullback last week.
The full injury report will be available 90 minutes before the game. The Bucs kick off at 4:05 PM ET.
