The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been fairly lucky with injuries so far this offseason, with Connor Barth's injury the only significant one so far. But that may be about to change, and certainly will change as the season progresses. Adrian Clayborn injured his groin in practice today, Greg Schiano noted in his post-practice press conference, but it's not known how severe that injury is at this point.
The Bucs missed Adrian Clayborn for most of last season with a knee injury, and the defensive end is just returning from that injury. He hadn't participated fully in any practice so far this offseason, and losing him for any period of time could set back either his rehab, or his participation in games. Clayborn's injury may not be too severe, but even if it isn't, missing practices will hurt him getting back to his rookie form.
With luck, Clayborn will just miss a few practices. We'll have more for you as we find out about his injury.
