The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made a few roster moves ahead of today's return to training camp. They have signed G Roger Allen, G Howard Barbieri and LB Dom DeCicco. Allen played four games as a special teamer for the Buccaneers last season.
Howard Barbieri, meanwhile, played his college football at Rutgers and entered the NFL in 2011 as an undrafted free agent. He hasn't played in any game since then, but has spent time with the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens. Decicco is a former Pittsburgh Panther who was with the Chicago Bears for the past two years after going undrafted in 2011. He has played 20 career games.
To make room for these three players the Buccaneers released G Brice Schawb, T Jason Weaver and newly signed CB Mason Robinson.
In addition, the Buccaneers removed punter Michael Koenen from the non-football injury list, allowing him to start practicing again. Koenen was suffering from a cut to his toe.
