It's the offseason, and that means it's time for speculation, speculation, speculation. Which is what we're going to do now, after a bunch of outlets jumped on some Mike Williams tweets. Bucs Nation reader VJax pointed them out yesterday, and today Stephen Holder wrote about them for the Tampa Bay Times, which was then picked up by Pro Football Talk and Pewter Report decided to join the fun too.
So how can we stay behind then? Here are the only five tweets visible on Mike Williams' Twitter account, as he apparently deleted the ludicrous amount of tweets he had before:
They told me ...im just stuck tho

Now, I don't know what to make of this. Williams tends to be a little, shall we say, melodramatic on Twitter anyway and all this stuff is ambiguous enough that it could be applied any number of ways. The contract talks are the first thing that jumps to mind, but maybe he's talking about his actual family, or maybe he's frustrated with something else entirely.
Besides, a frustrated Mike Williams now doesn't mean that he won't get a contract this offseason. The Bucs will likely continue to negotiate with his agent until at least training camp, and maybe even afterwards. Williams deserves a new contract, but if his demands are high the Bucs have little reason not to let him play out his contract and then negotiate a new contract next offseason before the start of free agency.
We'll see what happens, but at least his tweets are amusing.
