Darrelle Revis trade rumors: Revis forced to appear for Jets offseason workouts

Darrelle Revis has been rehabbing his injured knee in Arizona with his own trainers, but the New York Jets are going to force him to attend offseason workouts. Revis has $3 million in bonuses tied to his participation in offseason workouts, and the Jets intend to enforce those conditions, according to ESPN. There doesn't appear to be much point to enforcing this: Revis is rehabbing his knee and won't be able to do any workouts in New York anyway.

Still, it's another roadblock in the Revis saga. The linking of those bonuses to offseason workouts was just another part of the many anti-hold out clauses in Revis's contract. Revis will attend those workouts, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Which makes sense. Giving up $3 million over rehabbing in New York rather than Arizona would be mighty stupid. Still, Revis does prefer to rehab in Arizona, per Mehta. Too bad.

Does this really affect the Buccaneers? Not in any way I can see, really. But hey, it's more Revis news. Because we aren't tired of all the rumors yet. No sir.
