The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have selected quarterback Mike Glennon out of North Carolina State with their third-round draft pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. The Buccaneers have talked about adding competition at the quarterback position, and Glennon will certainly provide that.
The Bucs had needs at cornerback and tight end going into the draft, and could have used some depth along the defensive line and at offensive tackle. Linebacker was expected to be a possible area of attention as well. The Bucs addressed the cornerback position by selecting Johnthan Banks in the second round of the draft.
The second day of the draft isn't over yet for the Buccaneers, however. They have two fourth-round picks they could use to move back up into the third round for the right prospect. Barring that the Buccaneers will return tomorrow with five choices: two in the fourth round, one in the fifth round and two in the sixth round.
