The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed safety William Moore to a five-year deal, according to Adam Schefter. The Falcons have been clearing cap room to re-sign their own free agents, so this shouldn't come as a big surprise.

Moore wasn't really a target for the Buccaneers, who have a need for a rangy free safety rather than a hard-hitting strong safety like William Moore. It does mean that the Falcons hang on to another solid player, which will always be a problem for the Bucs. Unless, of course, Atlanta has overpaid for Moore's services -- something that's entirely possible.
The more relevant question for Buccaneers fans will be whether the Falcons will let cornerback Brent Grimes hit the market. He would be a likely target for Tampa Bay general manager Mark Dominik. We'll find out on Tuesday whether Grimes hits the market, although the Buccaneers can speak to his agent before that time.
