The Tampa Bay Buccaneers get lucky in the latest mock draft produced by Mocking the Draft. Dee Milliner falls to them at the thirteenth overall draft pick, and they get to select the best cornerback in the draft. In most mock drafts, Milliner is long gone by the time the Bucs get around to making their choice.

Here's what Mocking the Draft had to say about this choice.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers get lucky as need meets value with this pick. Dee Milliner has gotten some hype us a top five prospect, but a lot hinges on his 40 time. He may not time well enough to entice teams in the top 10 to take him. If that's the case, Tampa Bay will get a nice value.
This isn't really an unlikely prospect. Dee Milliner is a good cornerback, but he's not at the level of Patrick Peterson or Morris Claiborne in recent years. The top of the draft is also filled with quality linemen on both sides of the ball who could push down Milliner so he becomes an option for the Bucs. One major factor influencing his draft stock will be his workout at the NFL combine, which should occur on Tuesday. Another factor to keep an eye on is his shoulder, as he'll have surgery done after the combine. This surgery shouldn't affect him in the long term, but it could lead to him not being fully healthy once the season starts and missing part of training camp, which could again push him down on draft boards.
In the past, the Bucs have maanged to consistently fill their biggest hole with their first draft pick. If Milliner falls, they'll be able to do so again this year.
