The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be without their strongest offensive weapon against the Buffalo Bills. Wide receiver Vincent Jackson was limited with a hamstring injury in practice today and did not practice on Wednesday. While the injury was initially thought to be minor, Greg Schiano said today that he was not sure about Jackson's participation in Sunday's game.
If Jackson can't go, Chris Owusu and Tiquan Underwood will have to carry the passing offense, while the Bucs will undoubtedly try to rely even more on the run against a very talented Buffalo front seven. That could spell doom for Mike Glennon, who struggled against a strong Panthers defense on Sunday.
The team will put out a final injury report tomorrow after Friday's practice and we'll know more about Jackson's status then, but it seems that he'll be questionable at the least and likely to be a gametime decision. So enjoy the likely disaster that is the Tampa Bay offense without Vincent Jackson, or with an injury-limited one.
