Buccaneers vs. Saints flexed to 4:25 PM on Sunday, December 29

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face the New Orleans Saints at 4:25 PM ET instead of 1:00 PM, the league announced. That will cause the game to take place at the same time as the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals. The Saints and 49ers are fighting for a playoff seed, although obviously that doesn't mean anything for the Bucs.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fighting for Greg Schiano's career and the New Orleans Saints fighting for playoff spots, it should be a good game on Sunday. Of course, the Saints have proven to be significantly better than the Bucs this season, and they play at home. So maybe it won't be a great game, after all.

It will be a game that will determine the future of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though. It will be Schiano's last chance to justify a return as head coach in 2014, and Mike Glennon's last opportunity to prevent the Buccaneers from drafting another quarterback.
