The St. Louis Rams will not have the luxury of suiting up Tavon Austin, Daryl Richardson or Harvey Dahl today. That should limit their already mediocre offense against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Kellen Clemens at quarterback, the Rams are likely to struggle mightily against a resurgent Bucs defense today.
The Bucs on their part will be without Mark Barron and Da'Quan Bowers, which means their defense is going to have to make some changes, too. William Gholston is likely to see his role further increased with Bowers out, although Steven Means may take his place as the nickel strongside defensive end instead. Keith Tandy will take Barron's place at safety. The Rams are likely to target him repeatedly, probably through Jared Cook.
Buccaneers inactives: S Mark Barron, FB Lonnie Pryor, LB Danny Lansanah, G Patrick Omameh, DT Matthew Masifilo, G Carl Nicks and DE Da'Quan Bowers.
Rams inactives: WR Tavon Austin, RB Daryl Richardson, CB Quinton Pointer, G Harvey Dahl, G Brandon Washington, DT Matthew Conrath and T Mike Person.
