2014 NFL Draft Order: Houston remains on top after week 15

The Houston Texans have lost again and have now virtually guaranteed themselves that first overall pick. They face the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans the final two weeks of the season and it seems extremely unlikely that they'd do anything but lose to those two teams. The St. Louis Rams (via the Redskins) are the only team that can realistically take that pick from the Texans, but the Redskins face the Cowboys and Giants over the next two weeks.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are back in the hunt for that all-important first overall pick. They've played much better in recent weeks, but face the Titans and Colts over the next two weeks and their strength of schedule sees them winning almost every tiebreaker. That gives them the third overall pick now, and a realistic chance at grabbing the second pick.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are approaching a top five selection again, but still have by far the toughest strength of schedule in the NFL, which will cause them to lose all those tiebreakers. With games against the Rams and Saints remaining, both on the road, the Bucs could easily wind up with the fifth overall pick, however.
