Navorro Bowman
Bowman may be the best inside linebacker in the NFL right now. Yes, better than Patrick Willis, even. He's equally adept in run defense and in pass coverage, and has the downhill movement to be a terrific blitzer as well. Playing alongside Patrick Willis helps, but he's surpassed his mentor really quickly. Pretty good for a third-round pick. Certainly better than Myron Lewis.
Aldon Smith
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need an edge rusher, and the San Francisco 49ers have a really good one in Aldon Smith. Yes, Smith has had some off-field issues, but he's a terrific player on the field at a position the Buccaneers need to get stronger at.
Mike Iupati
Davin Joseph appeared to be benched on Sunday, although that may have been due to an injury. Regardless, the veteran guard has been simply awful this season and the Bucs must do something to get better on the interior offensive line. Mike Iupati would certainly help, there. He's one of the most physically gifted interior linemen in the NFL, and one of the best overall, arguably. Iupati would represent an instant upgrade.
Vernon Davis
Tim Wright has been a revelation this season among a slew of disappointments, but he's mostly a receiving tight end who can't move a soul in the run game. Vernon Davis, though, is an impact player both as a receiver and as a blocker. Again: an instant upgrade at a need position. Who can say to no that?
So, which 49er would you add to the Bucs?
