Buccaneers vs. Panthers: Darrelle Revis questionable on final injury report

The injury reports are in. Darrelle Revis' participation is in question, while the Panthers may be without a couple of their top running backs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have to face Steve Smith and the Carolina Panthers without Darrelle Revis on Sunday. The cornerback is listed as questionable after missing the second half of last week's game with a groin injury. If Revis can't go, expect the Bucs to play a lot of two-deep safety coverages with Johnthan Banks tracking Steve Smith. Leonard Johnson and Danny Gorrer should be the number two and three corners, with Keith Tandy coming in as the third safety in dime personnel.

Other than the continued absence of Carl Nicks, the Bucs have no notable injuries, something that can't be said for the Carolina Panthers. Their three top running backs are all listed as questionable with various injuries, which should hamper a running game that repeatedly gashed the Bucs the last time these two teams faced each other. With the Bucs consistently struggling to stop the run over the past couple of games, the absence or presence of the Panthers' top running backs could be a very significant factor in Sunday's game.
