NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Buccaneers are not the worst

The NFL power rankings in, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not the worst. Yay wins!

Mike Ehrmann

We're not the worst! We're not the worst! The Jacksonville Jaguars won this week, but because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed to run all over the Miami Dolphins, the Jaguars get to hold on to that final spot once again. Good fun!

The most common ranking for the Bucs is number 30 right now, ahead of the Jaguars and a variety of really bad teams at 31. SB Nation has the Bucs 30th as well -- so, one win, not much of a gain, but at least we're not the worst.

Turns out that it's less psychically debilitating to be yelled at by Greg Schiano than it is to answer 10,000 questions about Richie Incognito. The Bucs finally ran across a team suffering a bigger existential crisis than their own, and the Fighting Schianos notched their first win. They're also down to their last tailback, but if Mike Glennon continues to progress and Gerald McCoy continues to dominate ... could the Bucs get to three wins this season? Dare to dream. (Last Week: 30)

Mile High Report, the NJ Star-Ledger and MLive.com have the Bucs 30th as well (I think -- MLive is weird). One blog really likes the Bucs though: The Phinsider has them 27th. Then again, Bleeding Green Nation and Blogging the Boys have the Bucs stuck at 31st. But hey: at least the Bucs are not the worst.
