The Philadelphia Eagles don't have a surplus of talent, especially on defense, but they still have plenty of very good players. Some of those players sure would look good in pewter and red. So which player would you add to the Bucs? Let me give you a few options, and then you can give us your opinion in the comments.
Brent Celek
Hey, hey, would you like to have a competent tight end? Would you? Because I sure would! He can block and catch! In the same year! I didn't even know that was possible! Celek's topped 500 receiving yards four times in his career and he should do that again this year. Meanwhile, an undrafted rookie is the Bucs' main receiving tight end. Go Team Tampa Bay!
Trent Cole
The Bucs don't have any edge rush right now. They're getting to the passer through blitzes and Gerald McCoy, but none of their defensive end appear to be capable of beating anyone. So hey, Trent Cole would be fun. He has 0 sacks this year as an outside linebacker and had three last year, so there's a chance he's declining rapidly. But he also four double-digit sack years, so I'll take that chance.
LeSean McCoy
LeSean McCoy is probably the closest thing the NFL has to Barry Sanders. He's just a joy to watch, and is special in the open field. The Bucs may have Doug Martin, but McCoy is a special weapon. I don't know how you'd get both of them on the field, but I'd find a way. Icing on the cake: he's just 25 years old.
