The Jacksonville Jaguars are the only 0-7 team in town, which means they automatically get the top spot. The New York Giants will get a chance to take that spot back tomorrow, though, when they play the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night. If the Giants lose that one they should have the number one spot again, depending on the exact
Intriguingly, the season-long strength of schedule for the bottom three teams is very, very similar and we're not seeing massive separation. The Jaguars have the strongest schedule, but not by much and they could easily earn the top pick in cases of tied records at the end of the season. For now, simply losing more games appears to be enough, and it's tough to find a win for Jacksonville on their schedule.
The same is not true for the Giants and Bucs, both of whom have some beatable opponents left. The Bucs will face the likely Sam Bradford-less St. Louis Rams in week 16, which seems like their most likely win. The week ten Monday Night game against the Dolphins at home might give them an opportunity, too. The Giants still have the Vikings, Eagles, Raiders and Redskins (twice) as possible wins.
