Score Update: Eagles leading Buccaneers 21-17 after three quarters

The Buccaneers had a pretty bad third quarter as the Eagles now lead 21-17.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came into the second half leading 17-14 thanks to two Vincent Jackson touchdowns and a pretty good defensive effort. That looked to continue in the second half as the Bucs got driving into field goal range, but a Mike Glennon interception on what looked like miscommunication with Tiquan Underwood or a badly run route nullified all that progress.

A deep ball over Johnthan Banks head to Riley Cooper later, and the Bucs once agains trailed 21-17. With the Bucs shooting themselves on the foot with holding penalties they couldn't get much going beyond that. A Jeff Demps injury didn't help matters, either.

The Bucs continue to be in a close game and they have a chance to win, but close games have not been kind to them this year. Can they finally get their final win? We'll find out this fourth quarter.

Here's your final open thread for this game.
