Score Update: Buccaneers lead Eagles 17-14 at halftime

The Bucs finally have some offensive production as they lead the Eagles 17-14.

The Eagles looked like they would dominate the game after one drive, when they went down the field effortlessly for the opening touchdown, but they couldn't get anywhere against the Bucs' defense for the rest of the first quarter. They did manage another good drive in the second quarter to take a 17-14 lead.

Tampa Bay notched a couple of sacks and Darrelle Revis forced a fumble. Combined with a 42-yard Eric Page punt return the Bucs offense had good field position throughout the half. The Bucs struggled to get much done for most of the first half. The highlight at least was a 24-yard Mike Glennon touchdown pass to Vincent Jackson to give the Bucs the lead 10-7 early in the second quarter.

The final drive of the first half gave the Bucs their second touchdown, though. A few big Doug Martin runs and Vincent Jackson's second touchdown helped them get ahead for the second time and they go into the half with a 17-14 lead.

The game's close and the Bucs haven't done well in close games so far, but they have to start some time, right? For now, the Bucs look like they could win this game. Time to close one out.
