Buccaneers - Giants Inactives: Amukamara, Trueblood out; Benn, Nicks in

The Bucs and Giants kick off at 1 p.m. in New Jersey, and the inactives are in. For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the most significant injury is to right tackle Jeremy Trueblood, who will be replaced by Demar Dotson. The drop off shouldn't be huge, at least in the passing game. Cornerbacks Anthony Gaitor and E.J. Biggers are inactive, despite participating in practice during the week. Two names stand out among the inactives: rookie RB Michael Smith and DE George Johnson. Smith only got on the field as a kick returner last week, and didn't get the ball beyond the 20 yard line once. Johnson got a few snaps and appeared to be the main backup to Adrian Clayborn, but has apparently been passed by Daniel Te'o-Nesheim.

Meanwhile, the Bucs get a few players back on the field. Most notably, wide receiver Arrelious Benn is back from injury. He could get some snaps as a kick returner now that Michael Smith is inactive, and should give the Bucs some extra quality depth at wide receiver.

On the New York Giants' side, CB Prince Amukamara is the most significant inactive player. The Giants don't have a lot of depth in the secondary, and the Bucs will want to exploit the resulting matchups. Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams could have big days. Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is active, which will be a problem for Tampa Bay. Tackle Will Beatty also returns from injury, although it's not clear whether he'll start ahead of Sean Locklear.
