The best sports highlight in the history of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? There's no contest, in my mind. That has to be the play that got the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl. The interception to end all interceptions. The one play etched in every Bucs fan's mind. The play of Ronde Barber's career, ten years ago. The play that has come by time and time again as a highlight on NFL Films pieces on the Bucs. The defining moment for a great defense that played for many, many seasons.
Ronde Barber picks off Donovan McNabb. Against the Philadelphia Eagles. In the final game in the old Veterans Stadium. In the NFC Championship game. And he returns it for a touchdown, sending the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl. Giving them a chance to win the biggest trophy of them all.
Does it get any better than this? Well, let us know! What's your favorite highlight?
