The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have conducted try-outs, and it appears that they're ready to sign a ton of those players. Not only will does it appear they will sign defensive tackle Myles Wade, but Greg Schiano made it known that about 22 to 29 tryout players will be signed, according to Pewter Report. Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune and Pewter Report both note that LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson is expected to be one of those players. According to the Bucs' own twitter feed, Schiano noted that former Rutgers player and one time Buccaneer cornerback Derrick Roberson will likely be signed as well.
With a 90-man offseason roster the Bucs don't have to be stingy with their roster spots, and they can afford to sign a lot of players. But they will have to cut a significant amount of already signed undrafted free agents and even veteran players to accommodate 25 or so new players on the roster. We should see the exact list of signed and cut players appear in the next few days.
UPDATE: Aaron Wilson reports that Toledo tight end Danny Noble is one of the players who will be signed.
