The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced their complete offensive coaching staff, officially introducing Ron Turner as their quarterbacks coach among other hirings. The Bucs had previously announced the appointment of Mike Sullivan as offensive coordinator, Bob Ligashesky as special teams coach and the entire defensive coaching staff. With these announcements, their coaching staff should now be complete.
The Bucs introduced the following coaches today:
Bob Bostad, Offensive Line Coach: Former offensive line coach for the Wisconsin Badgers, briefly offensive coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh.
Brian Angelichio, Tight Ends Coach: Former tight ends coach for Rutgers and the University of Pittsburgh.
Earnest Byner, Running Backs Coach: Coached Maurice Jones-Drew and Chris Johnson to NFL rushing titles, previously running back for the Washignton Redskins and others.
P.J. Fleck, Wide Receivers Coach: Previously wide receivers coach at Rutgers, served as Northern Illinois offensive coordinator for one day.
Ron Turner, Quarterbacks Coach: Extensive experience as NFL offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, served as Illinois head coach from 1997 through 2004. Was most recently the Indianapolis Colts quarterbacks coach.
Steve Loney, Assistant Offensive Line Coach: Has extensive experience as an offensive line coach in the NFL, most recently with the St. Louis Rams. Has college head coaching experience and experience as an offensive coordinator.
Ben McDaniels, Offensive Assistant: Brother of New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. Most recently served as QB coach and offensive coordinator under Pete Mangurian at Columbia University, spent one year as a quarterbacks coach with the Denver Broncos.
